Another first!
Alexander Salmon started his swimming career yesterday. At half past five here at Angels Swimming School, in the Cape Peninsula suburb of Retreat, he entered the solar heated swimming pool. The sun reflected sharply off his bright yellow one piece swim suit. No worries, no crying. He took to it like a duckling to water. Splish splash. Await the second lesson this Wednesday, same time.

So Nikki sprang this - rather pleasant - surprise on us! It probably wasn't intended to be a surprise, just a lightning romance that suddenly sprang into being. Good, Look at the pictures and you can see the joy on her face (as well as on Bevan's) - we all could sure use some of that in our lives.
The ceremony took place at Grassy Park Baptist Church in Second Avenue.
